From News Center (text and photo by Zhu Jiang, Student Affairs Department (Division) of the Party Committee), according to a notice issued by the Department of Education of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region titled Announcement of the List of Award-Winning Projects and Typical Cases of Programs for Financial Aid and Student Support Services for 2024 in the Region (GJZZ [2024] No. 4), LVTC's project, Cultivating “Excellent Craftsmen” with Versatile Technical Skills—“Craftsmanship in Training, Empowering You” Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Financial Aid and Student Support, has won the first prize.

The "Craftsmanship in Training, Empowering You" Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Financial Aid and Student Support Program, initiated by LVTC's Work-Study Center and supported by platforms like the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the KAB Entrepreneurship Club, aims to foster a normalized approach to supporting innovation and entrepreneurship among economically disadvantaged students. Through meticulous planning, dedicated teaching, sincere service, and genuine collaboration, this program strives to cultivate "outstanding craftsmen" with a composite set of skills encompassing "quality, management and innovation," focusing on technical and technological expertise. Its goal is to move beyond merely alleviating financial hardship, instead focusing on enhancing students' capabilities and skills, thereby empowering not only the students themselves but also their families, businesses, and society as a whole.

For years, LVTC has placed a high priority on supporting students. We've built a diverse support system that includes national funding, school scholarships, community aid, and student self-help programs. This system aims to blend material assistance, moral guidance, skill development, and motivational support effectively, creating a sustainable way to support and nurture students. Our goal is to shift from merely providing support to fostering growth and development.

In the next phase, LVTC will continue to advance the pace of nurturing talent through a collaborative focus on innovation, entrepreneurship, and financial support. By optimizing management, we will make the "Post-Course-Competition-Award" model more mature. We will take further steps to enhance collaboration across different fields, bringing together resources from LVTC, alumni networks, and businesses. We will focus on integrating internal platforms, faculty expertise, courses, and training facilities, with a special emphasis on partnering with leading local companies and SMEs. Our goal is to guide students in tackling real-world issues and addressing societal needs such as rural development. Through this approach, we aim to forge successful experiences in fostering talent through collaborative innovation and financial support.
