From News Center (Text by Tan Weiyin,  International Exchange Department (Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office); Photos by Wang Xinzhi, International Exchange Department (Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office)) On December 23, a LZPU delegation led by Qiu Fuming, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC LZPU Committee and Vice President of LZPU, arrived at Hanoi, Vietnam. The delegation engaged in in-depth discussions with multiple stakeholders—including Vietnam's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Hanoi College of Electromechanics (HCEM), the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and Liugong Vietnam—to address critical issues in advancing the Luban Workshop project, with the ultimate goal of facilitating project development and strengthening the communication foundation for subsequent progress.

A joint working group comprising the Education Section of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the LZPU delegation, Liugong Vietnam, and HCEM visited the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam. The group held specialized consultations with relevant officials of the ministry regarding the advancement of the Luban Workshop project. Qiu Fuming provided a detailed account of the development progress, functional positioning, and specific challenges currently encountered in the approval process since the signing of the Luban Workshop project. The Vietnamese side fully affirmed the preliminary achievements of the project and explained the objective reasons for the delayed approval process, citing Vietnam's current institutional reform and adjustments in educational institutions. Attendants from both sides engaged in pragmatic discussions regarding the current challenges faced and reached consensus on the next steps for collaborative advancement. The Vietnamese side pledged to actively coordinate internal procedures to expedite the preparation and submission of key project documents. It also expressed willingness to maintain close communication with LZPU to jointly promote the early implementation of the project.

The LZPU delegation also visited HCEM, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and Liugong Vietnam. At HCEM, the two sides discussed specific cooperation initiatives, including the planning of practical training centers, curriculum development, and joint faculty training programs, thereby further clarifying the path forward for subsequent collaboration. Luo Yaoguang, Education Counselor at the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, received a briefing on the project's progress and stated that the embassy will continue to serve as a bridge, providing active coordination with relevant parties and support for the project's smooth implementation. At Liugong Vietnam, the LZPU delegation conducted in-depth research at production and training sites, gaining detailed insights into the company's demand for local technical and skilled personnel as it expands in Vietnam. The two sides also exchanged views on collaborative initiatives such as school-enterprise education collaboration and tailored class training programs.

This visit focused on critical aspects of project advancement. Through multi-level, multi-faceted communication and research, it effectively enhanced consensus among all parties regarding the project's current status and implementation pathways. LZPU will continue to strengthen collaboration with all parties to jointly advance project approval and development, striving to ensure the smooth implementation of the Vietnam Luban Workshop project.
