LZPU students competed fiercely and won the Special Prize in the national finals. The university also received the "Outstanding Organization Award", marking a double victory for LZPU.
The "Xuechuang Cup" National College Students Entrepreneurship Comprehensive Simulation Competition is an annual national competition sponsored by the Economics and Management Discipline Group of the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center Joint Association and the Chinese Society for Taoxingzhi Studies. It aims to cultivate students' entrepreneurial awareness, strengthen their entrepreneurial skills, support high‑quality development of employment and entrepreneurship education in higher education institutions, and identify outstanding students with innovative thinking and entrepreneurial potential. The competition is widely recognized by universities across China for its authority and industry influence.
The LZPU team was jointly supervised by Liu Jing from the Engineering Training Center (School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship) and Liu Peiyun from the School of General Education. The competing team—Li Mingqiu (New Energy Vehicle Technology Class 3, 2024), Xu Jiahui (Big Data and Accounting Class 6, 2024), and Liang Xunxi (Intelligent Applied Technology of Construction Machinery Class 1, 2025)—stood out for their strong professional skills and effective teamwork. During the competition, the three students completed six simulated quarters of company operations using the event's sand‑table simulation software, participating in core areas such as market development, production and R&D, human resources, logistics and transport scheduling, and financial accounting and control. They accurately analyzed market dynamics, developed data‑driven operating strategies, and demonstrated strong decision‑making and execution in a complex simulated business environment. Their performance won unanimous praise from the judges and earned them the Special Prize.
LZPU has deep roots in the "Xuechuang Cup". As an active promoter of innovation and entrepreneurship education among Guangxi's vocational and technical colleges, the university has evolved from leading regional events and building a basic competition platform to establishing mature competition organization and promotion systems. LZPU has hosted the Guangxi division (Higher Vocational Group) of the "Xuechuang Cup" for several consecutive years, helping expand the competition's reach and driving exponential growth in participation. The university has fielded numerous high‑quality teams to the national finals and has won the Special Prize at the national finals for several consecutive years.
This year's double success—winning the Special Prize and the Outstanding Organization Award—not only recognizes LZPU students' competitive strength but also affirms the university's long‑term commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship education and to advancing the competition. LZPU adheres to the principle of "learning and training through competition", using competition-based practice to strengthen students' innovative and entrepreneurial competencies and practical skills while providing a platform that links them with industry and society. In this new era of great promise for young people, LZPU students will take this honor as a fresh starting point, maintain a determined spirit and tireless work ethic, and continue to strive for even greater achievements.
