From News Center (Text by Li Dongheng, Zhang Shangmei, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering; Photo by Chen Chen, Publicity Department of the CPC LZPU Committee, Pan Feiming, He Meili, and Zeng He, Convergence Media Center) On the morning of November 14, the NVT-LZPU International Industry Institute (hereinafter referred to as the "International Industry Institute") was officially inaugurated at LZPU's School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, marking a new phase of deeper international educational cooperation between LZPU and Dongguan NVT Technology Co., Ltd. (NVT).

The unveiling ceremony was attended by Gan Jinming, Deputy Secretary of the CPC LZPU Committee and President of LZPU; Qiu Fuming, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC LZPU Committee and Vice President of LZPU; Li Aiping, Director of the HR & Administration Department at NVT, Li Yang, Senior Manager of the Four-New Development Department, Xu Zijian, Human Resources Manager, Liu Renmao, Manager of the Operational Department of BU1, and Wu Zenglin, Manager of the Engineering Department of BU2; Huang Dongqiang, General Manager of Guangdong Mingcheng Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd.; and other enterprise representatives and heads of relevant university departments.

During the unveiling ceremony and subsequent seminar, Gan Jinming provided an overview of LZPU, reviewed the history and achievements of the LZPU-NVT partnership, and said he hoped the inauguration would deepen exchanges, advance joint initiatives, and open a new chapter of mutually beneficial university-enterprise cooperation. Li Aiping praised LZPU's efficient, pragmatic approach, calling it the vocational university most closely aligned with industry that she has encountered, and pledged that NVT would deepen cooperation and offer expanded platforms to support students' growth and development.

"I am very much looking forward to the interview with NVT. I hope to be selected." said Nayla Rizky Nazahah (Li Qingna as the Chinese name) from Indonesia's Subang State Polytechnic, expressing high expectations for the International Industry Institute. She and 76 other Indonesian students are members of the 2024 school-enterprise dual-diploma tailored training program of the China-Indonesia Institute of Modern Craftsmanship of Intelligent Vehicle (the "Modern Craftsmanship Institute"). After completing the program's first phase at vocational colleges in Indonesia, they arrived at LZPU at the end of August 2025 to begin a one‑year customized "Chinese language + Mechatronics" training program in China. NVT, LiuGong, and Gotion High‑Tech have provided scholarships and will offer internships to the students after the one‑year training.

The NVT‑LZPU International Industry Institute is LZPU's second international industry institute, following its cooperation program with Shennan Circuits Co., Ltd. NVT provides equipment and technical support while LZPU supplies facilities. Operating a linked model that connects domestic international industry institutes with overseas modern craftsmanship institutes, the Institute offers services to enterprises such as tailored training for Chinese and Indonesian students, standards and curriculum development, and applied technology R&D. At the unveiling ceremony, NVT donated 23 sets of advanced lithium battery production equipment. More than bringing production lines onto campus, the donation underscores NVT's commitment to jointly building an industry-education integration hub and a talent center serving the global new energy sector.

LZPU and NVT began cooperating in November 2022 with the first "Lithium Battery Craftsmanship Star" class. Grounded in shared educational goals, the partnership quickly deepened and expanded. In 2024, LZPU responded to staffing needs at NVT's Indonesia base by coordinating multiple Chinese companies and delivering a dual‑diploma, school-enterprise tailored training program for a cohort of Indonesian students. To date, more than 200 Chinese and Indonesian graduates from LZPU have joined NVT, providing strong talent support for the company's capacity expansion and internationalization.
